Annegret Ulke-Lemee
CMRF Operations Coordinator
Anne completed her PhD and Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Calgary working on protein biochemistry. Her interest in LC-MS proteomics started at this time when she developed targeted assays for proteins. She worked with Dr. Ian Lewis to develop high throughput quantitative microbial proteomics. This led to her working as research coordinator for the ResistanceDB project, analysing all ~ fifty-thousand bacterial isolates causing blood stream in southern Alberta. This included multi-omics analysis and extensive collaborations. Once this project was completed, Anne moved into the role of coordinator for the Calgary Metabolomics Research Facility.
Dominique Bihan
CMRF Analytical Specialist
Dominique has experience in both academic and biotech startup labs as a synthetic organic chemist and peptide biochemist. She has extensive training in both NMR and mass spectrometry analytical techniques. She joined the Lewis Research Group in 2016 as an analytical chemistry specialist to develop LC-MS based methods for the CMRF.
Ryan Groves
CMRF Research Coordinator
Ryan has overseen the expansion of the CMRF from its initiation, where it has become one of the largest mass spectrometry facilities in Canada. Ryan is also the CTO of Rapid Infection Diagnostics (RID) Inc. and is a co-developer of the Hopper Platform – a rapid LC-MS based platform for diagnosing blood stream infection (BSI).
