Harnessing the power of quantitative metabolomics to uncover molecular mechanisms underpinning infection diseases.
About CMRF
The CMRF features a state-of-the-art suite of laboratories that uniquely integrate biosafety level 2 microbiology spaces with advanced analytical instrumentation. The CMRF supports a wide range of in-house and collaborative research projects that seek to understand the metabolic complexities inherent to host-microbe interactions.
Our Team
Led by Dr. Ian Lewis, our group includes researchers with a wide variety of expertise.
Instrumentation
The CMRF is a $4 million mass spectrometry facility designed specifically for investigating the metabolism of infectious diseases. This facility includes an integrated biosafety level 2 microbiology laboratory, engineering space, and mass spectrometry lab to facilitate research and development of new diagnostic devices and analytical strategies.
